IN THE GRID purpose is to equip each member with the tools they will need to be the best athlete they can be on and off the field, as it is important not just to be physically fit, but mentally and spiritually fit also.

IN THE GRID is open to all young people of all beliefs, denominations, sporting background/level, age and non-athletes alike.  The program runs in and out of season on a weekly basis, with the goal that each young person will learn from their life journey, understand what their purpose is, how to achieve it and through that, know that their success will be a platform for God to use them to show his love to the world.

The areas of focus are as follows:

Renew

Through our bible studies we look at what motivates and drives each young person to pursue their goals. We gage this through building relationships to break down the barriers, renew mindsets and attitudes that can cloud their vision and thoughts, find out what their interests are and identifying their purpose, goals and dreams may be.

Equip

Each member through the program is equipped with the tools that will empower them to be resilient in tough situations, to make wise and good decisions, how to build good relationships. This is done through using biblical principles and life experiences that can help them through the journey of life.

Release

As each member becomes equipped and has an idea of what their purpose or direction, we encourage them to serve within their community or areas of influence for example schools, church, sporting club, workplace. This is where they can practise being good role models to their peers and develop good work ethics and gain work experience. Being released to grow, getting a step closer to achieving their goals.
